Hello, my name is Kat, and I've been wildly neglecting this journal. This is mostly because this account is primarily a place to hide all my fandom excesses, and most of my fandoms have been pretty quiet lately, but also because I am transferring to a university in about a month, and all of my time has been eaten up with transcript requests and orientations and other such exciting adventures. Whew.
Which brings me around to the main point of this post: I am hoping to sign up for an intermediate fiction writing class this fall, which requires that I submit a sample of my writing. And since the majority of my writing folder these days is old poetry and CSI fanfiction, neither of which would go over very well, I have some serious work to do. So I am hereby resolving to write something,
anything, every night, and try to post it here. This is mostly for myself, and the only reason I'm doing it in a public forum is because I have this weird idea that it will somehow force me to stick to my goal. Most of it will probably be very nonsensical and insubstantial and contain no real charachters or plot, so please excuse all of that.
Tonight's offering is either an extremely random paragraph and a half, or a piece of flash fiction, depending on your perspective. Titles I am considering include
Scene of No Sense or
Run-on Sentences Ahoy!( Enjoy? )
